An officer is under a disciplinary investigation by the Royal Thai Air Force after he threatened singer Pongsit Kampee with a pistol during a concert. It showed him pointing a gun at the singer while he was performing on stage at a pub in Muang district in Amnat Charoen on Wednesday night, media report. He then pulled his Glock pistol over his head in front of the singer before security guards at the pub whisked him off and called the police. Jane Wisetrum of Muang police station said the sergeant had been charged with possessing a firearm in public places and threatening others. FS1 Phobtrai, 48, is based at Wing 21 in Udon Ratchathani and has been assigned to temporarily work in Amnat Charoen.
